Ashro Woman: Karen P.
Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Karen P. from Glendale, WI
It is evident that this bright mother and grandmother has centered her life on faith and family. When we asked her what makes her happy, she said it was being loved by her husband, children and grandchildren. Family is a treasure that she has invested in over the years.
Being a mother taught her “that you must sacrifice. In the end it is worth it when you see that all the work you put into your children blossoms into blessings.” As a woman of faith, Karen relies on God for strength each and every day.
“I have grown to have faith that God the Almighty will always have my back through the highs and lows of life. He is always there to catch me.” She and her husband have passed this faith on to their own children who are now passing it on to their children.
Not only has Karen invested in family, she has also invested in herself—in her growth and development. She is a retired insurance specialist, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and an author. She is proud of the fact that she has published a book of poetry and earned her Master’s degree. Go Karen! Fashion is a fun outlet for her as well.
While her style has a classic feel that works just about anywhere, she loves Ashro’s clothes because they make her feel “exciting”. For Karen, the Ashro woman is “vivacious…adventurous…a diva.” How did she find Ashro? ” I saw a catalog in a beauty shop and have not put it down since.”
