Ashro Woman: Lola N.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Lola from Charlotte, North Carolina

What are Lola’s 3 loves? Faith, Family…and of course, Fashion!

FAITH

“It’s all about God.” When Lola talks about being a Christian, she talks about how it changed her from the inside out. “It has really changed my mindset. I don’t look at situations the same. I don’t stress as I used to. I’ve learned to walk by faith not sight.”

FAMILY

For Lola, family is her treasure. “My children…are my inspiration because in every area of my life, they’re always there for me—just like I’m always there for them.” Being a mother (and grandmother) has taught Lola lessons in love, respect, encouragement and appreciating what you have. As a grandmother, she loves to spend time with her grandchildren: watching movies, making her homemade banana pudding and taking them to church from time to time.

FASHION

Lola may work full time in building environmental services, but that doesn’t stop her from bringing her beautiful best and matching her outfit head-to-toe when she’s off duty. To Lola, the Ashro woman is bold, beautiful and independent, and that is how she, as an Ashro woman, presents herself to the world.
