Ashro Woman: Trena

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Trena from Columbus, OH
“No matter how hard things get in this world, keep your faith in God and pray over everything.”
Trena is a mother, grandmother and nurse with a love for God. “I get to use my God-given gift to help others.” It is such a beautiful thing when our greatest triumphs are the overcoming of our greatest struggles. Trena is a great example of that.
Many years ago, her greatest struggle was raising 3 daughters on her own. Motherhood “kept me on my knees quite a bit…I believe that my 52 years (about to be 53) could never have been reachable without Him.”
In that time raising up her girls, Trena earned her nursing degree and showed her girls perseverance and a servant heart. Fast forward to today, and her greatest triumph? Successfully raising 3 daughters on her own and finding her calling at the same time. YESSSS.
