Ashro Woman: Wanda M

Meet Woman of the Week, Wanda from Winterhaven, FL!

Wanda knows who she is, where she’s been and where she’s going. We love her confidence and her ALL-IN energy (and we think you will too)! Her best advice?

“Do YOU.”

When Wanda urges us to “Do YOU,” she’s telling us not just to be who we are, but to LOVE and EMBRACE who we are and where we are. Knowing how to live like this is a glittering treasure that never tarnishes or loses its value.

As a cook at a healthcare facility, Wanda lives out her advice. She is ALL IN. “I’m a cook…mostly it’s a passion, and there’s nothing I don’t like about it.” In fact, when we asked her what her best dish was, she said “Everything I cook.”

Wanda’s friends and family keep her smiling. Life keeps her growing. She’s learned a lot from a rough patch back in her teen years, from the struggles and triumphs of survival, and from lessons learned being a mom. As a woman of faith, these lessons have no doubt been put to good use.

Have you noticed that Wanda also dresses like she lives? ALL IN. She wears hats, headwraps and wigs…and likes to look her best “just going to the store.”
