Collective Care in Action: How Our Ashro Community Council Is Uplifting Communities Nationwide

At Ashro, we believe looking good and doing good go hand in hand. Our mission has always been about more than style—it’s about celebrating the strength, beauty, and resilience of the women and communities we serve. Through our Ashro Community Council (ACC), that commitment comes to life in powerful, purpose-driven ways.
One of the most meaningful ways we’re showing up today is through our growing partnerships with incredible nonprofit organizations across the country—organizations that are already doing the essential work of feeding, clothing, and supporting individuals and families facing hunger and homelessness
Honoring the Work Already Being Done
Across the nation, there are dynamic nonprofits leading with compassion, efficiency, and deep community connection. They understand the needs on the ground. They build trust. They serve with dignity.
Our role through the ACC is not to reinvent that work—but to magnify it.
We’re intentional about aligning with partners who are already making an impact and finding ways to extend their reach, amplify their voices, and help them do even more of what they do best.
Because when you support those who are rooted in the community, the impact multiplies.
Partner Spotlights: Community Care in Action
We are proud to stand alongside organizations making a real difference every day:

Mt. Zion Church – Madison, WI
A cornerstone of its local community, Mt. Zion Church leads with faith and service—offering food programs, outreach initiatives, and compassionate support to individuals and families in need. Their work reflects the power of community care rooted in connection and purpose.

Lady T. Homeless Ministry – Atlanta, GA
Built on love, dignity, and direct service, Lady T. Homeless Ministry meets people where they are—providing meals, clothing, and personal connection to those experiencing homelessness. Their hands-on approach brings both immediate relief and a powerful reminder that no one is unseen.

From Basic Needs to Collective Care
Addressing hunger and homelessness isn’t only about meeting immediate needs—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity.
Through this pillar of our ACC efforts—what we call Collective Care—we’re focused on:
- Providing access to nourishing meals
- Supporting clothing initiatives that help individuals feel seen and confident
- Strengthening community-based services that uplift and stabilize families
These aren’t just acts of charity. They are acts of empowerment, ensuring people have the foundation they need to move forward with confidence and pride.
Rooted in Community, Driven by Purpose
Our ACC members play a key role in identifying and championing these partnerships. With their insight, passion, and connection to the communities they represent, they help guide where and how we show up.
Together, we are building a network of care that reflects the values we hold dear:
- Dignity in every interaction
- Respect for every individual’s journey
- Celebration of community strength
Because true style isn’t just what you wear—it’s how you uplift others along the way.
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning.
We are proud of the partnerships we’re building and the lives being touched—but we know there is always more work ahead. As we continue to grow our Collective Care efforts, we look forward to sharing the stories, impact, and inspiration that come from this important work.
Together, with our ACC and our nonprofit partners, we’re helping ensure that more individuals and families have not only what they need—but the support to truly thrive.
Because when one of us rises, we all do.
