Ashro Woman: Christine M.

Text announcing Christine from Baltimore, MD as Ashro's Woman of the Week, with a soft, light background.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Christine from Baltimore, Maryland

Woman with a striped headwrap and bold necklace poses confidently, giving a playful expression against a light background.

Christine is a mother and a grandmother…and also a lover of headwraps and Lifetime movies. Her best dish? Lasagna—which she serves to her kids at home. “I’m a homebody.”

While Christine has had some financial struggles, she has learned to “live, love and laugh regardless of her situation.’ Faith and family also help. Christine credits her grandfather as the biggest influence in her life. “He told me to never give up on anything and fight for everything.” At the same time, her faith teaches her to go beyond the appearance of things. “As long as I can believe in the impossible, the possible will happen.” These blessings have sustained her through good and bad times. Of course, her grandson helps too—by keeping her laughing.

And what about fashion? Christine loves everything about it. She sees the Ashro Woman as “a woman of self-confidence: beautiful, strong, bold and unstoppable.” We love that!

I am very proud of you. Congratulations on being Ashro’s Woman of the Week. I read your story and smiled to the end. You are a very strong woman.
You look beautiful bald, with wraps and also with wigs. Try hats also, I am certain you would look stylish.

Remember, Beauty begins from with in. Your positive attitude will continue to inspire others. I pray that you will find employment. May God Bless You!
