Meet Woman of the Week, Karen H. from Niagara Falls, NY!
“Prayerful, bold and successful,” Karen believes in being a “world changer,” and letting that change begin within. In fact, she is walking proof of that philosophy. Not only has she overcome abuse, but she has gone on to pursue her dreams, graduating magna cum laude at age 49. Congratulations, Karen!
It was her grandmother and parents who influenced her the most with their prayers and encouragement. Now, as an administrative professional, Karen loves encouraging and blessing the people around her. As a mom, Karen believes in prayer and love. “I am not perfect, and being a mother will try you because you want the best for your children. Pray more and love them.”
What makes Karen happy? Shoes, coffee, watching classic movies with her husband…and knowing that she has “overcome silly mistakes of the past.” We love that, Karen.

| I am an Ashro woman, because of the stylish trends offered by Ashro. |
| 2. What is your favorite part about fashion and style? |
| My favorite part of about fashion and style is the blending of both old and new fashion trends. |
| 3. What makes you get up every morning? |
| God, of course. And, knowing that He allows me to bless and to encourage others. |
| 4. Your best advice? |
| Be a world changer. But, let the change begin in you and don’t stop pursuing your dreams. |
| 5. What small thing makes you happy? |
| Coffee. Shoe shopping. |
| 6. What has been your greatest struggle…and your greatest (or latest) triumph? |
| Overcoming abuse. And, losing my dad in 2018. My greatest triumph is graduating magna cum Laude, at 49. |
| 7. How do you spend your free time? |
| Watching classic movies and being silly with my husband. |
| 8. What do you do for a living? What do you like most about it? What don’t you like? |
| Administrative professional. What I like most is all of the people I get to encourage. The commute. |
| 9. Who influenced you the most in your life. Why? And in what way? |
| My paternal grandmother and my dad. Their prayers and encouragement to be prayerful, bold, and successful. Also, my mom. She is a quiet strength and classy lady. |
| 10. What is your best dish? Who do you make it for—and where do you typically serve it? |
| Banana pudding. I make it for my family and friends. Served at home. |
| 11. Are you a woman of faith? How does that faith affect your life? Please tell us more. |
| You better believe I am a woman of faith. The Bible says, ” faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.” My faith is in God who answers, by his perfect will. In this, I am receiving the right answer. |
| 12. What makes you laugh? |
| Old Christmas shows. And, knowing that I have overcome silly mistakes of the past. |
| 13. What lessons has motherhood (or being a grandmother) taught you? |
| I am not perfect, and being a mother will try you. Because you want the best for your children. Pray more and love them. |

| Church, Banquets, Weddings, Extravaganzas, Birthday Parties. |

| Not really, unless occasion calls for it. |

| Not really. But have as a preaching prop. |

| Only to bed. |

| Not that I recall. |

| The Ashro woman is a woman of style and strength. The clothing brings out those qualities. If the brand did not mean anything, I would not purchase the clothing. |
