Care Tips

Important Overall Care Tips

• Do not use heavy Products on the hair. Not only will this compromise the style, it will cause the hair to tangle and shed due to breakage.
• Wash with lukewarm water and finger comb. DO NOT brush while washing.
• Only wash 2-3 weeks as needed.
• After washing ALWAYS allow the wig to AIR dry on a mannequin stand. DO NOT blow dry.
• Never twist/wring/squeeze your wig.
• Avoid sleeping while wearing the wig. This may compromise the style/structure and will cause matting and tangling.
• Never expose your synthetic wig to heated styling tools such as hair dryers, curling irons, or other heating sources unless stated on the package.

Tips for Maintaining Curly and Wavy Extensions

• When curls begin to look frizzy or dry, spray with water an a small amount of leave-in conditioner to calm hair. This will hel to keep hair from matting.
• After applying water an/or conditioner, gently finger-comb and style as desired.

Washing

• To wash, use lukewarm water and mild, non-concentrated wig shampoo.
• After rinsing, allow the hair to air dry. Do not finger-comb the hair until it has completely dried.
• Wash 2 to 3 weeks as needed.

Sleeping/Nightly Care

• Cover hair with a satin bonnet.
• For Wave Patterns: You can loosely braid a plait of the hair to preserve the waivy pattern. For looser wave (loose deep, body wave) patterns, make larger braids. For tighter wave patterns (deep wave) make smaller braids. Be sure to include all of your hair for wave pattern consistency.
