Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Lechana R. from Denham Springs, LA!

Deeply influenced by her mom, “Big Momma Dorothy,” Lechana appreciates the way her mom “gave it to her straight” and was always open, sharing her life experiences with Lechana. Lechana has taken that good upbringing to heart and gone on to live a life that matters: raising her own kids with faith, love and consistency; helping to feed the homeless…and working hard as a General Foreman at a nuclear power plant.

And of course, Lechana does make time for fun. She loves dressing up, shopping and spending time with her family. (When they’re extra lucky, she makes her best dish, seafood fettuccine—YUM.)

What do you do for a living? What do you like most about it? What don’t you like?
	I work the nuclear power plant as a Laborer General Foreman! I love helping all the workers i work with. I like being apart of all the projects I work with.
How do you spend your free time?
	I love spending time with family!!
What small thing makes you happy?
	Shopping!!
What is your best dish? Who do you make it for—and where do you typically serve it?
	Seafood fettuccine
What has been your greatest struggle…and your greatest (or latest) triumph?
	My greatest struggle has been my two marriages!! My children graduating high school and doing well in school!!
Who influenced you the most in your life. Why? And in what way?
	My Big Momma Dorothy Robertson influenced me. She gave it to me straight about life! She told me about her life experiences!!
Do you volunteer or do charity work? Tell us about it!
	Yes, I help with feeding the homeless. I love making a difference.

	I love being different!

	I love dressing up when I’m not at work!!
