Ashro Woman: Brenda H.
Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Meet Brenda from South Carolina
Here’s Brenda looking beautiful in blue…and undeniably confident in who she is. What’s Brenda’s best advice?
“Put God first.”
Faith touches everything she does and gives her purpose. “Without faith, I am not sure how I would survive in this life.” Her mom has been an inspiration too. Brenda credits her mom as the most influential person in her life because of “the strength she demonstrated in overcoming various obstacles in her life.”
Now retired, Brenda is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She spends her free time reading, traveling with friends and taking part in politics.
“Life makes me laugh. Being able to laugh at myself and with others is a daily part of my life. One should be able to not take themselves so seriously.”
