Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Janice B. from Dayton, OH Janice is a woman of substance and heart who has triumphed over hardship. After a terrible car accident that left her with broken bones from the waist down, she learned to walk again.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Reverend Charisse D. from Calumet City, IL Reverend Charisse is a full-time doctoral student, business owner and preacher who also cares for her mother and her brother—a great deal of responsibility for one woman.


Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Dr. Regina H. from Jersey City, NJ “I always look like I am going somewhere.” Dr. Regina is a retired professor, Deputy Chair of Nursing, who is full of style, determination and faith. Now, as a co-pastor and first lady, she preaches and teaches alongside her husband at their Baptist church. Thanks for inspiring us, Regina!


Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Michelle G. from Charlotte, NC. This beautiful wife and mother of 3 is a hardworking woman of faith. She is a speech and language pathologist, founder of her own 501c3 (Virtuous Communications), and is just about to earn her doctorate in pastoral/biblical counseling. Go Michelle!

Michelle Hunter is a native of South Carolina and is a wife, mother and born-again Christian. Jesus Christ has been the foundation of her life since accepting Him as Lord and Savior at the age of fourteen years old. She loves soul-winning, strengthening and encouraging others. She also loves decorating interior and exterior spaces, fashion, crafting and photographing nature.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Amelia H. from St. Louis, MO Amelia is a special education teacher with a heart for youth and God. While she does not have biological children herself, she is a devoted godmother, aunt and mentor who makes a tremendous difference in the lives of many.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, RaShawn J. from Florissant, MO. As a Library Media Specialist for grades 3-5, RaShawn does not keep to herself quietly shelving books or hiding behind the checkout counter. Just the opposite. She pours her heart and soul into her job, dressing up like characters from books, acting out stories…and encouraging her students to believe in themselves and become lifelong learners.
